Reduced Hours During COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our practice has seen a huge reduction in the volume of office visits. This is great as people are practicing social distancing and staying at home. Even though we implemented Telehealth as soon as we received a “go-ahead” from the insurance companies, our total volume of office visits is still very low.

Medical practices are also small businesses and do not have the financial reserves to endure a prolonged reduction in patient volume. Unfortunately, this has created financial challenges for Avanta Clinic and we have had to make the difficult decision to reduce office hours to reduce costs.

Our revised hours until further notice are:

  • Wed & Thu: 10am - 4:30pm (instead of 6pm)

  • Robin Bansal, APRN is only available on Tuesday from 10am-4pm (instead of Monday to Friday).

    • DOT Physicals will be scheduled for Tuesdays only

  • Dr. Bansal will also be reducing his hours on a day by day basis depending on patient volume . He will continue to see patients in the office and via Telehealth.

  • There will be one Medical Assistant from 8:30-4:30 everyday to accept calls and take care of non-urgent issues.

We appreciate your understanding during these unprecedented times.
